SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK AUTHORITY [SOPA]
Responsible for managing the 640 hectares that comprise Sydney Olympic Park. This includes management of public places, parklands and seven sporting venues, and the delivery of programs and events. SOPA is also responsible for planning and development of the Park including programs for conserving water, energy and resources, protecting ecosystems and the environment.

WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY [School of Social Sciences]
Project Director, Dr. Sebastian Pfautsch is an Associate Professor in Urban Studies at Western Sydney University. He develops practical and innovative solutions to mitigate urban heat. His trans-disciplinary research transforms how we live in our cities.
Strategic advisor for SIMPaCT, Nicky Morrison, Professor of Planning at Western, is a leading academic authority on delivering resilient, healthy and sustainable communities.

WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY [School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences]
A core component of SIMPaCT is a machine learning model, designed by Oliver Obst, Bahman Javadi and Russell Thomson. It will use live data from the sensor networks at the park and weather forecasts from the Bureau of Meteorology to predict soil moisture, optimise the accuracy of simulations and predict optimal irrigation schedules.
